Frequently asked questions
Does Cenovka write anything into our ERP?
No. We only read the data source, and the system is built that way: there is no path by which anything could go back into the ERP. Everything Cenovka writes goes into its own database and out to the labels.
What happens if the label system or the internet goes down?
The operation stays in the queue and keeps retrying. When the connection comes back it continues where it left off. If an operation runs out of retries it appears among the open tasks. It never disappears quietly.
We have items with several barcodes. Which one do you pick?
None. If your system does not say which is the main one, Cenovka does not send the item but asks instead. The decision is recorded and holds until somebody changes it. It is also visible who made it.
Can each store show its own price?
Yes. Each store has its own labels, bindings and templates, and its own prices and range as well. An item can carry one price in one shop, another in the next, and not exist at all in a third. Where there is no store price, the item's general price applies.
Who can change what?
There are two roles. An administrator manages settings, rules, users and handhelds. An operator works with items and labels. The handheld is separate from both: it may bind, replace and unbind a label, and nothing else.
Where is our data?
On a server in the European Union, with a nightly backup. Each customer's data is separated and not reachable by any other customer. The credentials for your ERP and for the label system are encrypted and never come back to the browser in readable form.
What does it cost?
The software is EUR 299 one-off setup and EUR 29.90 per store per month. We are not registered for VAT, so those are final prices. Labels and access points are separate, because they depend on which sizes you choose and how many; for those, tell us how many stores you have and how many items are on the shelves and we will prepare a quote. See the packages; the demo runs without a quote.
Try it on your own data
Start with the demo and connect your own source when it suits you. If you have a question before that, write to us.
